Boston Yummy Walk and Sheer Madness
Discover one of the most vibrant ethnic neighborhoods in the country. Boston’s North End is rich with history and home to restaurants, markets and specialty shops that make exploring these narrow streets a culinary adventure.
Yummy Walks is about giving everyone a giant, mouth-watering taste of life in Boston - the food, the culture, the history, and the people. Our gentle stroll has lots of stops with frequent, generous tastings along the way.
We’ll visit a pastry shop for Italian confections, an authentic salumeria, a pizzeria, an old world coffee shop, a classic Italian restaurant and more. Sample authentic flavors and discover healthy Mediterranean traditions as you get an insider’s view of one of the premier food neighborhoods in the country.
Our evening entertainment is Shear Madness at the Charles Playhouse. Over 9 million people around the world have seen Shear Madness, the uproarious whodunit where the audience gets to solve the crime. A mixture of improvisation and up-to-the-minute humor, the play is delightfully different every time you see it. During the course of the action, a murder is committed and the audience gets to spot the clues, question the suspects, and solve the funniest mystery in the annals of crime.

New Hampshire Winery Adventure
Many of you have enjoyed our past winery tours! This spring, let us take you a little farther afield as we sample some of the finest wines along the southern New Hampshire Wine Trail. Experience the hospitality of the granite state’s best known wine venues during this day of touring, tasting, and shopping.
Our first stop is actually in Portland where we will visit the Maine Mead Works Tasting Room to sample their signature Honeymaker Mead. Maine Mead Works was founded in 2007 with the goal of re-introducing the world to the oldest of all fermented beverages. They blend ancient tradition and modern science to produce a highly distinctive product.
Entering New Hampshire, our tour lunch will be served at the Holy Grail Restaurant in Epping where the old St. Joseph’s Church has been reborn into one of the Seacoast’s premier restaurants. The owner’s Irish roots are reflected in the food and ambience of this unique pub. We’ll likely be seated in the choir loft where the stained glass windows are easily enjoyed along with a delicious lunch.
This afternoon we visit Labelle Winery in Amherst where winemaker Amy LaBelle began making small batches of wine in 2005. Production has dramatically increased, now offering over 30 styles of award winning, world class wines all produced in a state of the art facility surrounded by lush vineyards. We’ll sample some of the favorites followed by plenty of time to visit the gift shop featuring all 34 varieties for sale along with the Winemakers’s Kitchen culinary line.
Our last stop of the day is Fulchino Vineyards in Hollis where we’ll sample a number of wines from their extensive selections. Let’s hope for a warm spring day to enjoy the Italian inspired winery and patio.
The day will end with a surprise (think Tuscany!)
Registration fee includes motor coach transportation, three winery tours, tastings, snacks and souvenir glasses, and Holy Grail lunch.
No one under 21 may participate -must have valid ID. For liability reasons, alcohol consumption on the bus is not permitted.

On Your Feet! Broadway in Boston
From their humble beginnings in Cuba, Emilio and Gloria Estefan came to America and broke through all barriers to become a crossover sensation at the very top of the pop music world. But just when they thought they had it all, they almost lost everything.
On Your Feet! takes you behind the music and inside the real story of this record-making and ground breaking couple who, in the face of adversity, found a way to end up on their feet.
Directed by two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots), with choreography by Olivier Award winner Sergio Trujillo (Jersey Boys) and an original book by Academy Award winner Alexander Dinelaris (Birdman). On Your Feet! features some of the most iconic songs of the past quarter-century and one of the most inspiring stories in music history.
The bus will depart from the Elm Plaza Shopping Center parking lot (closest to Main Street and in front of K-Mart) in Waterville at 7:30 a.m. and will make another pick-up at the West Gardiner Service Plaza at 8:00 a.m. After a “stretch-your-legs” break in Kennebunk we should arrive at Quincy Market at around 11:30 a.m. for some shopping and lunch on your own. We will then attend the 2:00 p.m. matinee at the Boston Opera House with our seats located in the mezzanine section!
We will head back to Maine after the show and after a “pit-stop” in Kennebunk and drop off in Gardiner, we should return to Waterville by approximately 9:00 p.m.
No refunds will be made after March 12, 2018. Fee includes transportation and theater ticket. You are expected to pay for your own meals.
