Sir Isaac Newton observed an apple falling from a tree and came up with basic principles of motion that are still studied today. In addition to motion, physics covers mechanics, electricity, heat, light, and sound. These topics provide a solid foundation for many technical occupations. This class is designed to meet the prerequisite for more colleges. Students must have basic algebra prior to taking physics.

This course is designed to meet the Biology Pre-requisite of most colleges and prepare students to be successful in Anatomy and Physiology.
